Commitments
“We want the new generations of farmers who take the reins of Thader Cieza to do so believing that this sector is capable of demonstrating that respect for the environment and agriculture go hand in hand”.
Thader Cieza has always worked as a premise very present in all its farmers: the commitment to the future. That is why caring for the environment and prioritising more sustainable practices are absolutely essential measures in the development of our activity. In the same way, contributing to the development of both our farmers and society is also a priority.
After many years working on a constant improvement plan, the measures adopted over the last 10 years have been:
- Field improvements including the extension of the cultivation areas and the increase of the area covered with anti-hail netting.
- Growth in total production thanks to the professionalisation of partner farms and varietal renewal.
- Support and advice in the management of financial aid for the modernisation of our members' farms.
- Our own experimental farm to guarantee the success of our farmers, adapting to the demands of the market.
- Carrying out all the necessary processes to guarantee food safety through quality audits.
- Replacement of refrigerant gas with ammonia.

- Development of an employment plan that will enable us to become a company that provides jobs for the community and boosts the sector. Each season, around 600 jobs are offered.
- Agreements with educational and training centres that give students the opportunity to do work experience in our cooperative and then join our team.
