The town of Cieza is historically the town of peaches. Thanks to its climatic conditions and the richness of its soil, a great peach farming culture has been developed for centuries.
After several years of work, effort and study by the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, the Romea and Baby Gold 6 varieties have obtained the PGI Cieza Peach quality seal, an international recognition.
This seal recognises that the organoleptic characteristics of this peach make it unique and incomparable with others. The next step is to continue working to add new varieties of peach from our town.
